Is Your Coach Telling You What To Do or Teaching You?
"95% of All Diets Fail in 5 Years".
The headline wasn't surprising to me. I've been in and around this industry long enough to know just how difficult it is to maintain diets that are pretty difficult to maintain.
You see, most people, including coaches, are concerned with looking good for photos once.
Marketing yourself, or your business it seems, is all about the money shot.
Reading the headline though, was disheartening.
With so many trainers, coaches and nutritionists in the industry, we should be making things better.
I often think to myself "maybe we're making these people worse".
I always try to teach clients. I always try to tell them the why.
Why teach them? Especially when the goal is to reach the goal. Who cares about the process right?
But I'm not going to be around forever. People move, things change, and if someone doesn't know how to fend for themselves, they can easily go backwards.
This is what so often happens. Environments change, and then what was once a diet that worked when everything was perfect, suddenly doesn't.
And the spiral starts again.
I became a Precision Nutrition certified coach for that reason. To help give clients the why.
But more importantly, to teach clients the habits to long term success.
Did you know there are any number of diets that could help you reach your goal?
Did you know that you could also fail on those exact same diets?
How is it that a diet can be the best and worst, all in one?
Many people don't understand the habits to healthy eating and long term success with their health. This is what I teach through the Precision Nutrition.
This doesn't mean it's easy, but continuously succeeding and then failing can't be easy either.
But when a client is empowered to do it themselves AND learns the habits behind all diets, then they can make real, long term change.
If you want to learn more and any of the habits in the nutrition program or the program itself, message below.
