Do This/Get That

Getting Lean Isn't Guaranteed


So often in life, we live following a simple rule.

Do this, get that.

That is, if we put in a certain amount of work, we should get a certain reward.

It make sense, because this is how things happen at work.

We show up, do the work, we get paid our weekly wage.

But when it comes to health, it's not as simple.

If you do the 12 week challenge, and follow the rules set by the coaches, you still might not get the six pack you hoped for.

You see, the human body has it's own idea when it comes to you getting fit and lean.

And so the desired process of do this, get that, is thrown out the window somewhat.

Your health tends to be a long term process.

Sustained commitment over a long period of time, and even then "success" isn't guaranteed.

The key is to commit to the process itself.

Commit to showing up even when you don't feel like it.

And do it over and over again, even when the results aren't exactly what you want.

This is one situation where it's more like Do This/"Might" Get That.
