The Feeling of Comfort Is Strong

Yesterday two clients of mine decided not to come in for training.

Their reason? They were just being slack (their actual words).

I appreciated the honesty, and they rarely miss sessions. Sometimes, you're just not feeling it.

But it's those times when training can be most important. It's like you're overcoming yourself. The part of you that loves comfort.

And trust me, you love comfort. We all do.

To get results with anything, there has to be a level of self discipline required, and no coach can make that decision for you.

And despite all that, it's also important to realise we're human and we're not perfect. You're not going to be disciplined all the time.

If you can say no to the instant gratification more often than not, you're definitely moving in the right direction.
