Gardening Is a Bit Like Getting Fit and Healthy

Since covid has started, my partner Jen and I have been working on establishing some extra garden beds.

Gardening has become a simple and relaxing pass time, especially for Jen.

There are a lot of parallels between gardening and training, which I'll go into further in the future.

But a few things I've noticed:

  1. You kind of suck at the start, but get better quickly, but...

  2. Often you suck again; it's okay though, because you can have another go.

  3. It takes patience.

  4. There are rules, but they're more like guidelines, and ultimately you need to see what works for YOU

  5. You can start at anytime, but it works best if you don't stop in the first place.

So in a round about way, think of yourself as a work in progress.

The key is to plant seeds today, so you can get the rewards later.
