Feeling Good, Feeling Better

Feeling Good, Feeling Better

Have You Convinced Yourself You're Feeling Good, When Really the Opposite is True?

Recently I started a new diet, which is nothing particularly crazy for me - I've been training for 14 years now, so I've done a few of them along the way.

But never have I felt as good as I have on this diet.

It's amazing to think that after all these years, I could possibly make a clear step change on how I felt (and looked). But that's exactly what happened.

The same happens for plenty of people as well, just at a different stage of their journey.

"I get by fine on only 5 hours sleep".

Really? All the evidence suggests otherwise, but you feel fine?

Or is the problem that you don't know what feeling good actually feels like anymore?

Is being tired, aching, lacking focus and having mood swings okay on your scale now?

And this kind of summarises our health journey over time.

For many people, starting to train, will be a step change in how they feel, as will a better diet and more sleep.

And even still, as we get those things to a good level, there is still room for improvement, or the challenge of just maintaining for some extended period of time.

You may believe you feel good, but I bet you can feel better.

Until next time,

Marco
