You're More Resilient Than You Think
Last week I caught up with my younger brother; as usual we discussed all sorts of things, but I asked him how his preparation for the birth of his new child due in January is going. His response was pretty nonchalant. He's always been like that.
But it reminded me that we can stress about all sorts of things in life, always projecting about what might happen.
During these times, it's easy to think about what might happen; it seems like doom and gloom all around.
And yet, what can we control? Mostly none of it, so why worry? Why project the worst case and bring ourselves anxiety?
For all this time you've dealt with everything life has thrown at you. True, this might be the biggest external event you've ever faced, but you've got a 100% record so far.
I'm confident you'll keep that record going.
