But Why?

But Why?

A great question to ask yourself after you've set a goal is WHY?. Why this goal specifically? Why is goal goal important to you?

This might seem odd. If it's your goal, you should know why right?

But we follow people's goals all the time. We are constantly comparing ourselves to other people's versions of success, never questioning if these are our versions of success.

"Lose 20 kilos in 20 weeks".

"Get that 7 figure business".

" Make 20k is sales this week"

We accept goals and never ask why it might be important to us.

As an example, I have no interest in being 8% body fat at the moment. It's just not a goal I want to pursue, and yet, there are industries built on this idea.

During my Intake Interview with potential clients, I ask them why. I ask what their purpose for making a change is. If they have a purpose, they will keep going even when things get tough (and they will get tough).

The what is often easy to choose, so much so it's chosen for us. But the why is the thing that's ours alone.

Until next time,

Marco
