How Often Should You Train?
How Often Should You Train?
Don't Be Swayed By Those Offering Extreme Results
Many people assume that you need to train 5 or 6 times a week to get results. But which results do you want?
Is your goal about getting a super lean six pack? Is it about being the biggest and strongest?
Yes, extreme goals often require extreme effort.
But you don't have to want those goals.
Getting stronger. Getting leaner. Getting bigger. Getting faster. These goals don't require you to commit to 6 days a week training, a crazy new diet and every supplement under the sun.
I’m not suggesting that minimal commitment can lead to something special, but the truth is most people don't need to do hours and hours of training, because most people don't even want those results.
My advice to everyone: train at least twice a week, and follow a program with a focus on progressive overload. Every physical and mental marker we'd like to measure can be improved from doing this at least.
Until next time,
Marco
