It Depends
It Depends
Why Ideal and Ideal for You Are Different
I just finished recording a podcast about the best time to train.
And if someone were to ask me that question, I would give a very frustrating answer: it depends.
How is that answer meant to help anybody?
But the truth is, many questions in health and fitness need more detail.
And even more importantly, even more answers are actually very individualised.
You see, I could give you the best time to train to get optimal results.
And 90% of people couldn't train at that time, for whatever reason.
Personal preference, work, family.
All reasons very genuine.
And so optimal doesn't really help.
The question should be: when is the best time to train for me?
This is something that as a end user of "fitness", you need to decipher.
Yes, this might be what is required for the best results, but what about best results for you?
What can you consistently do?
And this is where you might come unstuck.
Because an answer specific to you may not be coming, unless you're willing to pay for it.
Or you take the best case scenario, and fit it into the context of your life.
Or if you're happy enough to do some of the best case, then do that knowing your results won't be what they could be in an ideal world.
Even though there is enough fitness information to last a lifetime, your own individual preferences need to be taken into account.
Until next time,
Marco
