My Assertion
My Assertion
You Need to Test What Works For YOU
Everyday I write a blog, like this one, making assertions.
"I believe this will happen..."
And these assertions are based on experience from working with clients over the last 5 years.
But these assertions are also limited.
Yes I have results with clients, but it's not like this is a mass market system.
I don't have thousands and thousands of data points to prove my assertions to be correct.
And so, it's up to you to ask yourself "is he speaking the truth?".
Of course, I'm not here to lie.
But you also shouldn't be sold easily sold.
Ultimately, the only way to test if these assertions are correct for you, is to test if they are correct.
In fact, everything in the fitness industry is like this.
When I say "this will work for you because...", it doesn't actually mean it will work for you.
How can I know 100% sure it will?
Yes I'm confident enough to make the assertion.
In fact, I need to make it, otherwise you won't ever be moved to test it out yourself.
But even still, I can't see the future, and there's a small possibility my assertion, for you at least, is incorrect.
What does this mean for you?
Like with everything, you just have to test it for yourself.
You have to have some faith, be willing to try, be open to change, and come with the right attitude to make change.
And if, for some reason this or anything else you try doesn't work, it's not failure, but simply feedback.
"Okay, this didn't work for me, what can I test next?".
At the end of the day, the only way change happens, is if something changes - you need to test which change works for you, or be accept your current state.
My assertion: by following a simpler style of training, focused on progressive overload (getting stronger), you can achieve your goals in a healthier and more sustainable way. I will guide you, hold you accountable, and teach you to do this style of training so you can do it for yourself forever.
Now, it's up to you to test if this assertion is correct for you, or stay the same.
Until next time,
Marco
