Failure Isn't Fatal

Getting Healthy Might Involve Some Missteps

Failure isn't fatal.

Although, sometimes it can feel like it.

And that feeling keeps us from trying something we know we should try.

In our health and fitness, the same is true.

"What if this doesn't work for me?" - then you can just try again or try something else.

"What if it's too hard?" - it's meant to be hard, always.

"What will I tell friends and family?" - that you tried, and you're going to try again, just better.

Not achieving predetermined goals with your health is okay.

The failure isn't fatal.

In fact, the failure is a great feedback.

Maybe the wrong diet for you, maybe the wrong style of training.

Maybe it was all too much too soon.

But you can try again, and again, until you reach your goals.

As a bit of perspective (and humblebrag), I recently had a full body composition scan.

My result: 8% bodyfat.

Now I've achieved great results in the past, but this is the first time I've been able to sustain them for such a long time - 3+ months already at this stage.

I've been training for 14 years.

That's a lot of failure to go through to achieve my goal.

Until next time,

Marco
