Results Are Fun Too

Reward For Your Hard Work Is Fun Too


Training for fun is a great way to stay committed to your training.

I always recommend that people do what they enjoy doing the most, whatever that type of training or exercise is.

There's nothing harder than turning up to do exercise you genuinely despise.

This recommendation can come unstuck though.

You might be someone who wants results from their training.

Losing weight, adding muscle, adding strength.

These are all common goals many people have with training.

And when the focus is on fun, results can sometimes be an after thought.

I see a lot of commonalities between work and training actually.

Having a fun workplace is great, and would definitely keep people motivated to go.

But we also have to understand that people love challenge, love pushing themselves and love results.

So even a fun workplace without a way to progress, or without clear goals, can become boring.

This is no different with training.

So much hard work and effort, and still, you could end up with no results to show for it.

No progress gets frustrating after a while.

I've always thought it's the people that make something fun.

At least, that's what I try to give to my clients.

But there's also no denying the fact I am providing a style of training that is difficult, focused on the process, and leads to results.

I've seen clients who had no desire to get stronger, set a PB and feel amazing afterwards - we love progress.

So fun training is great.

Training with no progress, no so great.

Most training facilities, especially large franchise businesses aren't focused on results.

They can't be - there's just too many people coming through their door.

And so the focus has to be on fun and community.

But you can have both.

You just have to be clear on if you want fun, results or both.

And choose your training to match that.
