You Haven't Reached Your Goals (So Far)

You Haven't Reached Your Goals (So Far)

In his fantastic book, The Practice, Seth Godin discusses the creative process that is open to us all.

In it he says:

"You haven't reached your goals (so far).

"You're not as good at your skill as you want to be (not yet).

"You are struggling to find the courage to create (so far)."

"So far" and "not yet" are good reminders to anyone who creates.

And just as applicable to anyone who is looking to improve their health.

When we're promised to achieve our goals in 8 to 12 weeks, but fail to do so, we feel like a failure.

"This isn't for me"

"I can't lose weight"

"What is the secret to achieving these goals".

And so, we stop.

But the truth is, it might just take time.

So maybe you haven't reached your goals (so far).

Maybe you're not as lean as you want to be (not yet).

And maybe you are struggling to lose those few kilograms (so far).

I've seen plenty of people achieve great results in 8 weeks.

And later I see those same people looking the same as before they started.

It might take longer than you want.

But behind every success in health, is a consistent practice of doing the work.

Focus on the process like we do here at PEAK Strength & Nutrition.

And the results will come.

Until next time,

Marco
