Getting There and Staying There

When it comes to our fitness, getting there and staying there, require two different types of effort.

And this can trip us up.

Because truthfully we can achieve results and reach our goals quite quickly.

There are plenty of people who have achieved great results during 8 week challenges.

But 8 weeks in the context of your life is a sprint. It's only about 1/6th of a year!

And so the effort we expend to achieve our goal can't be maintained. We tire. We struggle. We fall back into old habits.

And then we need to start all over again.

It's hard to maintain long term results when the process we use isn't designed for that.
