How Your Fitness Could be the Key to Your Success
A new year rolls around and you get that desire to change your life...new year, new you right?
A desire to be healthy, get fit, get strong, get that promotion and finally start to live the life you know you deserve.
And you know what, you do deserve it.
In fact we all do.
But every time you go to join that gym, the nerves kick in. It’s been years since you’ve joined a gym, if ever.
You know what type of people will be in there…fit, tan and healthy. All of them moving big weights on those complex machines.
They all look like experts.
Meanwhile, not only are you not sure what to do, but you’re not sure how to do it.
So you consider a bootcamp, but that looks confusing too. And you’ll be the “new person”, taking attention away from all the other clients.
Before you know it, that resolution is broken, the diet is the same as before, it’s March, and you’re no healthier than you were the year or 5 before that.
If only there was a way to get healthy and slowly overcome those fears and anxieties...
You Were Never Taught How
The skill of training, movement, fitness and eating healthy, wasn’t taught to us.
They skipped that section at school.
But it’s important to realise that it is indeed a skill.
Like riding a bike, doing maths or driving a car.
All of those things took time and a dedicated practice.
Training and eating healthy is exactly the same.
We need to practice it on a regular basis to get good at it. We need to practice it on a regular basis to see results.
So how do you go about overcoming the anxiety, reluctance and fear associated with training in a gym or around a group of people?

Trust and Be Trusted
I have no doubt you could learn everything necessary to become lean and healthy and take control of your life.
I also believe it would take you close to 5-7 years to do so.
I know because much of my process was self learning before I started to heavily invest in getting coached by others.
And that is while you are trying to upskill yourself at work, maintain healthy relationships, and find time to enjoy yourself.
Sounds a little daunting doesn’t it?
That’s why sometimes you need to let someone else think about it, and your job is to be a great student and take action as best as you can.
My job as a coach is to help people become their best physically, mentally and emotionally. My client’s job is to let me help them.
It requires forming a close bond with another person. It requires trust and commitment from both parties. It requires a human connection and being vulnerable.
That is the best way to overcome your fear and anxiety.
But say you finally do get that good health and sexy body. Is that it? Will that make you happy?
From what I’ve seen, people still aren’t satisfied. That’s because...
It’s About More Than the Body
Sure, being healthy is about the body, but it’s about so much more than that.
You can be lean and look sexy, but what type of life would you live if your goal was just that?
You’d be ultra successful at getting lean, but not much else.
There’s more to life than a six pack.
There’s more to life than work as well.
Or earning as much money as possible to buy more things.
You see, overcoming your fear of exercise and training is about overcoming the fears you face in life to achieve all that you can be.
It just so happens you can exercise those fears through exercise.
You see, getting healthy is about improving multiple aspects of your life. It’s about learning the skills to be successful with not only your health, but your career, financially, relationships, mindset etc.
That’s why I don’t just help people to get lean and healthy.
