Are You Struggling to Find the Time to Exercise?

Time, something we're all lacking.

"If only I had the time I would..." is said by people all over the world.

We all need more time!

Or is it more attention?

Or even more accurately, do we need to give our attention to better things.

Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Netflix, Youtube.

They all make our lives better, to a degree.

But when we give them our time, and attention, we lose time somewhere else.

Add in work. Add in our families. Add in our friends. Add in downtime.

It's no wonder we feel like we have no time.

And no time is one of the biggest reasons I've heard for why people can't train and look after themselves.

Have you given that reason before as well?

So, let's break this down.

We have 7 x 24 hours in each week. Which is 168 hours.

Say we work 55 hour weeks; that leaves us 113 hours.

Say we sleep our recommended 8 hours of sleep each night. That's 7 x 8 = 56.

That now leaves us 57 hours in our weeks.

Yes, that is correct, each time you say you have no time, you're saying I've lost 57 hours from my week.

Of course, this is an example. Many people work more, and many people sleep less.

But being conservative, you probably have 40 hours each week to train.

Part of coaching clients is helping them set clear, long term goals and then reverse engineering the habits and mindset required to achieve that goal.

And teaching them how to better manage their time to actually achieve those goals.

I fully believe that you can achieve unreasonable things for your life IF you give them the time and attention they require.

So please, stop telling the world you have no time, as if that's a badge of honour, and instead look to manage your time to achieve your goals.
