Are Your Reasons Holding You Back?

Another year is finished, and we start 2019 with hope of a better life.

This is the year you make it happen you hope.

This time, you will change.

For many of us these sentiments come from a good place, but they lack conviction.

I've done it too, and will do it again.

We believe a change of date will change us, but the things that held us back last year will hold us back again this year.

The person stopping you, will stop you again.

That frustration is a driving force for us to overcome. But sometimes we don't overcome it, and we're back to square one.

And in 2020, I'll write another article about your hopes for the new year, and how 2019 escaped from you somehow.

When we give the reason of no time, can't afford it, too hard, not enough information, we give ourselves a way out. I see it all the time in this industry. All the reasons as to why we can't do it.

But we never schedule our time.

We never go for a run.

We never look online for beginner exercises.

We never look for more information.

The reasons you give for not looking after your health may feel real and legitimate to you, but to another person, they're excuses.

Excuses that have an easy solution.

The reasons are part of the challenge you have to overcome. Keep believing these reasons, and you'll stay stuck in the same place.

Keep telling yourself the same story, and the plot line and ending will turn out the same.

At PEAK, more now than ever, I'm challenging those reasons, especially for my clients, because for me, they seem like excuses.

I provide enough services to overcome those excuses. I hold people accountable. I coach for long term sustainable results.

Message below to find out more about improving your long term health. I'll even use cliches like "New Year, New You" and "Make 2019 Your Best Year Ever".
