Better Than Yesterday

Better Than Yesterday

Think Longer Term With Your Goals

Better than yesterday.

That's the way many of us want our lives to be.

If only it were as easy to do as it is to say.

I often tell clients at training: the key is you're pushing to get stronger each session.

Of course, I don't mean chasing numbers for the sake of it.

But measuring progress helps to drive us forward.

But can my clients actually get stronger each session?

When simple things like sleep, stress and water intake can all have an affect, it's never going to happen.

And so the same is in our lives.

We can try, it's just not going to happen - especially when other people are involved.

Instead, it's more of a "better than last quarter" or "better than last year".

It's more about thinking about improving over a longer time period, with the knowledge that not everyday is going to be incredible - and that's okay.

And this is a lesson a lot of people could use with their fitness too.

Until next time,

Marco
