When Did You Stop Caring For Yourself?
Maybe it was when you started the new job.
Or maybe it happened over time as you became more comfortable with your partner.
But somewhere along the way, you might have stop caring about yourself.
You might argue that you still do some of the things that you like to do, or that you have a family now so you can't think about yourself anymore.
And that work is the focus. You have to progress that career. That is how you look after yourself.
But we know that's how you look after yourself financially. Is that it? Is that the only way you do it?
When a person walks into the gym and wants to know about my services, something has happened to them.
Often the fear is at a point in their life where it drives them to action.
Whatever the case may be, it makes me happy, when someone is ready and willing.
Here is someone who is ready to take responsibility for their health.
Someone who is ready to look after themselves again.
Looking after yourself is pretty important. There's only one you after all.
Eating well, exercise, good sleep, positive people...all of these things make us better. Looking after yourself is all about being at your best.
For yourself, for others.
I chase people up who don't turn up to train...most days.
But it's not up to me to get them out of bed.
Just like I guide them in their training and nutrition, but not to the point where I give clients rigid set of rules; a "do this or fail" attitude.
More like a set of guidelines and ways to improve.
So they can starting for themselves, by themselves, if the need should arise.
