Add to Simplicity
Add to Simplicity
Variety In Training is Overrated
A lot of training styles are all about doing 10 exercises in the 40 minutes. Variety is the key after all right? "Confusing the muscles" they call it.
But how do you add to something that's already complicated? How do you add to something that already has so much variety? More variety?
And so, like much of life, a great place to start is at the simplest answer. The simplest training, that drives results, until it doesn't.
And then?
Add some more variety, but only a little.
Vary small things.
Measure the results, vary again.
It's tempting to think the loud music, high intensity training, shouting and variety is the key to get results.
They might even help you get some results.
But they don't leave you much room to get any more.
Until next time,
Marco
