Difficult to Teach
Difficult to Teach
The Hardest Part is Making a Commitment to Yourself
It's not the training that's difficult to teach.
It's not the exercises.
It's not the machines or equipment.
It's not the diet or the foods to eat.
No, when it comes to your health, the things which are difficult to teach are everything else.
Making a commitment to yourself.
Showing up even when you're tired.
Being consistent.
Pushing more than last time.
Holding back more than last time.
Understanding it's not always about pushing.
Resting.
Letting go of a focus on results and instead focusing on the process.
Letting go of our old stories.
Letting go of our limitations.
Caring enough about yourself to keep going.
All of these things are difficult to teach and learn.
Yes the exercises can seem overwhelming, but I've been teaching those easily easily for more than 5 years now.
What's hard is the self work required to become the person you want to and can be through your health and fitness.
Until next time,
Marco
