Hand In Hand

Hand In Hand

Together We Make Changes to Your Health

You might come to me asking for help to get you healthier and looking better.

And I believe I can do that.

But many people believe I have the answer for everyone straight away, as if I am a world class expert.

And I probably am a world class expert when it comes to health and fitness in comparison to you.

But that doesn't mean I know the right answer for your goals - yet.

You see, while I have a plan for most people to achieve their goals, that plan is never set in concrete.

And it's very likely to change once I meet you and get to know you more.

In fact, the plan is a team effort.

Hand in hand, we create the plan and execute.

That might seem odd.

Shouldn't I just tell you what to do?

I have the knowledge after all.

Actually, what you want, and what you need are taken into account.

Where you're starting from is also considered.

And so my assumptions often need to change.

So in fact, your feedback is considered, and I change the plan accordingly.

What's the point of saying you should train 5 days a week to achieve your goals, only for you to struggle to do even 4?

How would that make you feel?

And how long would you stick to a plan that doesn't involve any of your feedback?

And so coaching, at least the way I do it, is a journey together.

Yes, I do a lot more of the guiding, but it is in no way a closed shop, where feedback and input isn't welcome.

Quite the opposite in fact.

Hand in hand we go on this journey together.

And when we reach the end, we can both be proud of our efforts and results.

Until next time,

Marco
