It's Not For You
Doing What Everyone Else Does Probably Isn't What You Need
It's okay to want to fit in and do what everyone else does.
It's only human nature to want to be a part of a tribe.
After all, that's how we survived for so long, and our brains still have the need to survive very much wired in.
It's the oldest part of our brain.
So when it comes to our health and fitness, we're no different.
We want to be part of the tribe.
Often we want to be part of the biggest tribe.
And that is only natural, except there's nothing really to survive now.
And there's nothing major to fear.
So we have such a desire to do what others do, at the detriment of ourselves.
Especially if we have our own goals and ideas for what we want.
When exercise is created for the biggest tribe possible, it's ends up being general.
How can one training session and program truly help everyone in the room?
And a general training program leads to general results.
If you want general results, do what the tribe does and fit in as much as possible.
But if you want more than that, then it's not for you.
Here at PEAK Strength & Nutrition, the tribe is small.
And everyone follows their own program.
It's hard not to get the results you want when a program is designed to be based on your goals and needs.
But the problem here is that it's not for everyone.
It's not aimed to be for everyone.
It's aimed to help a small tribe of people only.
And so, maybe it's not for you either.
So maybe you need to make a decision:
Fit in as much as possible, like we always try to do in life.
Or be willing to stand out by doing what works for you.
Neither is right or wrong.
Just don't be surprised if when you follow the tribe, you gets what the tribe gets.
Which is always going to be general.
